96AAA Team Wins Bantam Tier 2 State Championship Qualifies for Nationals!

The 96AAA became the 2nd Avalanche team ever to qualify for Nationals by winning the tier 2 Bantam State Tournament this past weekend.....



The team was seeded 3rd entering the tournament and took care of the 6th seed Berlin in the first game before knocking off the 1 seed Manchester Flames to secure the 1st Seed.

Then in the Semi Finals they faced the #2 Seed Nashua team and took care of them before facing the #1 Seed Flames in a Finals Rematch. The team fell behind 2 to 0 and 4 to 2 at different times in the game before sending the game to OT. Mike St Pierre was the hero in the second overtime with a shot from the point!
